I have some jupiter lenses, but not the 85 mm. But you can get this on ebay. If f.x. moscowphoto is selling one I would recommend them.

Which one(s) do you have, and what body do you shoot with it.
I use a Jupiter 8 on my Kiev IV rangefinder. One of the best 50mm lenses I've owned. Have not owned the 9. I hear it's a tough lens to focus if the base leg on your camera is short. My Kiev has a base leg the full width of the camera.
After the rape of Berlin (WWII by the Allies) Russia dismantled the Contax factory and took the machinery, parts and some workers back to the Ural mountains and set up production in the Kiev Arsenal. This camera is early productions, so likely built with Contax original parts. Great B/W camera, great B/W lens.
One site you may find a Jupiter 9 is
www.rangefinderforum.comLots of FSU owners/shooter on that site. (Former Soviet Union camera's)
1952 Kiev (KNEB) w/accessories
Yoko's w/Jupiter 8
I have a Jupiter 8 50 mm lens and a Jupiter 37A 135 mm lens. Sorry for late reply
Nice shot. I have a lot of lenses that cover the 7 to 60mm range...hence my want for an 85mm. The Olympus 75mm f1.8 is just way too expensive and looking for an alternate...thinking the the Jupiter 9 might be an option. I also just noticed the rokinon 85mm f1.4, which would be easier to find, as well as being in the native mount.

Well, I have the Rokinon 85 mm f 1.4 with Nikon mount. That is a very good lens in my opinion. And it seems like DXOmark agrees on that. I have been using it with both FX and DX bodies.
