Great gift from "Santa".
Under the Christmas tree for me was a canon 6d with a 24-105 f4 canon zoom. Took some Christmas lights late last night and will post a few later today. Santa was good to me, hope everyone got what they wanted.

It's nice when the giver knows just what you want. I'd say enjoy it, but that's not necessary, is it?
No, it's not necessary Jerry. I was looking forward to getting this combo since it came out, upgrading from a Canon XTi rebel 10.1mp with a 17-85 crop sensor camera and lens.

I can't imagine having to wait till Christmas to get at it. If I knew it was in the house, I'd be using it. Congratulations on your willpower.
It wasn't a problem. Got my wife a teacup yorkie just before Xmas so she kept me busy. Got a few got images of her too. I'm definetly going to love this camera.

A cat and a teacup Yorkie puppy must be an interesting combination.

Coincidentally, my son and daughter-in-law have that exact pair...a cat and a teacup Yorkie. The big, ol' formerly stray cat is bigger than the dog. The dog fits in the palm of your hand. I hadn't heard of the term "teacup Yorkie" before.
Same here. The cat was a stray we took in three years ago and the teacup is a month old and tiny. They said her max weight will be four to five pounds, she's one and a half now.

Are you sure you're not my son?! :)
Don't think so. I'm most likely too old to be your son lol.

Yes he was. Got some accessories too!!!
How do you keep the cat from stalking the yorkie? Have with them both.
B
No problem Bill, even though the cat has her claws she plays but never takes out her claws. Even when my daughters have their dogs over the cat plays with them chasing them through the house. It's pretty funny to watch.
My 15 year old cat, Shadow, has been very lazy, and following me around the house lately. I figured he was getting old and needed my protection. Surprisingly this morning when I checked the back porch, I found a large plump rat freshly killed by my old cat. He must have carried it from the golf course last night. I guess the hunter is still there. Beware you rats.
