Yellowstone is a precious place. To take great pictures you have to go to great places. Light is everything to a photo and therefore time of day is critical. Mid day shots in sunlight produce harsh contrasts and sometimes mid day shots is all you have. None the less, super photos.

I have hundreds of them but none with the wonderful eye capture, including catch light, as in your second one.
The nursing calf is also a rarity.
