Remove the microSD card you stored all the pics on (you did do this, right?) put it in a full-size SD adapter and slip it into the card slot of your computer.

USB cord. On a Windows machine, plug in the cord, navigate to the folder on the phone that the images are in, then copy and paste them to your destination folder on the computer.

If it's just one photo, and not an important one, I email it to myself; otherwise, I use the USB cord.

I have the S4, but I don't take many phone pics. I email them to myself if I want to get them onto the computer.

I use a cloud service to move my photos from my phone, such as Google+ or Drop Box. If you set it up to use your wireless network to up load the images, then it will be ready for viewing, on your computer, the moment you get home.

p.s. If you have limited data by your wireless provider, then you can have your phone set up to send the images as soon as your phone hits a wifi.

Do photos lose quality when they are emailed?

It's the same 1's and 0's being sent, so it shouldn't make any difference, just like saving it to a disc.

 I do this with dropbox on my HTC one smartphone. As soon as I turn on my computer the pictures are already there.

Go to the Google Play Store and get Airdroid 2.0 on your phone. If you have a wireless network and the phone and PC are both connected (pc can be hard wired), you can use this app to download and upload and manage your phone's contents very easily. All you do is go to www.airdroid.com on the computer (it works best in Chrome, of course!) and then load Airdroid on the phone. You can snap a pic of the QR code on the screen and it automatically connects your phone and pc or you can manually log in with a number sequence displayed on your computer screen. It's free and solves a problem everybody has.

I know 2 ways to do it wirelessly, if your phone and PC are on the same wifi network.
First is Samsung's own app, Kies Air. This allows a user to transfer information and files between the Android device and the PC. The PC software is available for download on the Samsung website and the Android app is in the Google Play Store if not already on your phone.

The second is an app called AirDroid which does not require separate PC software. It connects using the Web Browser. It is a free app in the Google Play Store.

I hope this is helpful.

Only if the email program resizes the images, like the default settings in Picasa do.

Otherwise, a file is a file.
