You know how important it is to feature the eyes and you are doing a very good job with that. This is a lovely and creative portrait.
When you post photos, if you would like UHH members to be able to see your photos larger and in more detail, please check the "store original" box next to the browse button. Then members will be able to view your photos in larger, more high/res view.

I cant help but notice she is... nvm :?
Not going to ask about the snakes :|
Lovely the idea and a good image. I like the strong light from the left which causes extreme dark on the right, The down side is that it has also cast a rather ugly nose shadow, and I wondered if you considered cloning this out?

If your unasked question is wether or not she's wearing clothing the answer is yes she is :p this was actually taken in school XD I just have them wear some sort of sleeveless thing because for me clothing is often just a distraction from what I'm trying to display

Hmmmmm this is a very good point! I usually don't like to mess with my photos in photoshop other than tweaking with the levels or taking out the occasional pimple if its distracting. Ill have to give this a try ! Thank you so much for the suggestion!
Use a mask with PS, it will allow more control over any graduated removal or replacement of shading, colours of images

Now you ruined it for me :x
All joking aside it is very creative as to is your self portrait. Each female subject I shoot the set will contain a number of self portraits taken with my camera.
This thing about the dark on one side.
I thought about it before my last post and determined that was the desired effect simply due to the amount of contrast no photographer could miss that.
There are less evasive ways to make adjustments.
Maybe simply sliding up the "shadow" scale in windows could retain your original vision and satisfy the more critical users.
In any case please keep posting.
Maybe we could bounce some ideas off each other this being a public setting.
I will prepare a sample for your critique in a new topic. ;)
You are experimenting with lighting and that is terrific. It is a powerful photo and the eyes speak to me! Great job!

Yes I was intending for a very dark and very light side to sort of go along with this idea that with everything comes "good" and "bad". However now that it was pointed out I defiantly can see that the nose shadow is rather unpleasant XD I would love to bounce ideas off with you!! I'm still not completely sure how this site works so bear with me I'm quite the newbie
Interesting and creative photo. Very nice work, and welcome to the forum!
