been trying to get this fella for a couple of years and he finally came out the reeds while i was there . jimmy

Brilliant - Wonderful - Congratulations - They are so difficult to find - (incidently) a very good photo as well.

thanks georgie there has been 3 coming to the gosforth park a local nature reserve over the last five years , i.ve only seen them flying but this fella landed in the reeds and i waited prob 3 hrs for him to show himself he was in view only about 2 mins just enough time to get a few pics , jimmy

I love the setting you found it in - blending right in and all the same lines and tones. Very neat!

thanks linda they take the colour of the dead reeds and when they are in them they are very difficult to see , thanks jimmy

People tend not to care about things they don't see. More good can come from 1 photo if it is shared. Consider taking your photos and putting together a elementary presentation for children. If you never taught a group of children, it is difficult to keep their attention, and you may need the help of the teachers at the school, but the joy of seeing them "get it" is like nothing else.
Try it, you will like it.

Very exciting photos.
