Thanks Camshy, I'm wondering if it's a mix between our common grey squirrels and a red squirrel. It regularly comes to the bird feeder in search of food.
Thanks so much Gregory! No, I planted a couple tomatoes in a pot out back, and the squirrels started eating the tomatoes when they began to turn, ate all the tomatoes then the plants.

Thanks for viewing and commenting! All my bird feeders are squirrel proofed, but I do throw seed on the ground for them. They are helpful in that they eat or store massive amounts of acorns that fall in my front yard, saving me the time and effort of cleaning them up.

I fuss about them indulging in my bird feeders but the entertainment they provide it's worth it. But they are little gluttons.
Thanks Donna, good to hear from you. No, we didn't have any significant damage anywhere around Huntsville, a few trees down around Florence. There was street flooding in the usual areas. Merry Christmas to you and family.

Cute shots, Jim. Glad the weather system's out of here. Hope you didn't suffer any damage as I think the weather was more severe in your area.
