My uncle who just passed away last weekend was a very regular regular on here. This was the first image I have taken since he left and wanted to share it with you guys.
Any input would be appreciated. I have 2 versions... obviously, I'm torn on which one I like better.

So sorry for your loss. Who was you uncle?
I'm not sure of his screen name, I would imagine Jsteven53 but he was ALWAYS talking about the site.
Thanks, I was wondering why the pictures didn't show up.
Very pretty pictures. So sorry for your loss, though.
Thank you, he was my best friend. He taught me everything I know about photography... even though it's not much.

I like both photos. One shows off the lights better and two adds in the tree.
It was really nice that you were able to spend time with your uncle and share a special hobby. My Mother's father died when I was 15 and there were some things I knew about him like that he loved taking pictures but we didn't spend time together. It wasn't until after he passed away that I found out a lot of things about him that we have in common. I wish we had gotten to share those things. I would have loved to have heard about his photos. He rode motorcycles as do I but I didn't find out until many years later. I would have loved to have head about his rides and would love to know what he would think about the ones I ride. ( One of the photos of him on a motorcycle was dated 1915. His looked like a bicycle with a motor. I have a sport bike and a big touring bike)
Treasure those memories!! You are so lucky to have had that time together. My deepest condolences for your loss.
Thank you, I love those early 'motorbikes'. One of my neighbors from before we moved had a 30's Harley. It was in bad shape but still a pretty cool piece to have seen and sat on.
As far as the memories I don't think I could forget them if I tried! Thank you!
