Just Joining from the Yakima Valley.
I live in Sunnyside, WA.
I've been playing around with photography for a number of years now.
I had a darkroom in the basement and did some B&W, but then digital came along and its more fun and less expensive. I can experiment more and have more fun.
Merry Christmas to Everyone!!!!

Welcome and Seasons Greetings from the UK
I also am new here. I love the film cameras they are becoming an antic, but then so am I. I have shot photos almost all over the Far Eastern area. Japan, Wake Island, Guam, Philippines, Okinawa. I don't mention Hawaii any more so many have covered most of it professionally that it sort of ruin's it for the amateurs like me. I shot pictures for the emotional thrill when I look through the view finder I love using the manual modes and some times playing with exposure setting for different things I don't "use" people much in my shots because I try to "capture what I am seeing and feeling" when I press the button. ( I know I have put this badly and the only excuse I can offer is How can a person explain an emotion?) So please excuse me.
Welcome. The UHH is a great learning experience great members. Don't forget the search feature, can be your best friend.
I had some shots there also along with Germany and Iran. My ex wife took all of my photo collection and stored it in her fathers garage untill a fire destryed it and all of the neat (not great) but neat pictures I had taken all over the world, and that is some thing that can never be replaced.
Merry Christmas to you and family, and a prayer that the comming year will be much better than this one has been.
Thank you all. I hope I haven't been too much of a bother.
