is very old as is the chair staff, etc.
I don't think I sent the whole question of where you found the location and were the chair and staff and boots already there??

Obviously, all your money goes to photo gear. :D
Good shot.
Hi, Mark---
This is a terrific image! And while conversion to B&W (or using a sepia setting) might give it an additional ol' timely feeling, the different shades of blue & other muted colors add real character to the photo. Keep it just as you have it. I have only one suggestion (& I'm bending the rules a bit here by "modifying" your image without permission, but in my defense, it is merely a slight "tilting" action that I'm hoping won't count too heavily against me): the use of a wide angle here resulted (as it almost must, without a $2k PC lens) in the chair being off kilter (the boots, not so much). I've just straightened the chair a slight bit.
Terrific image. Hope you make lots more....
In a chair in the corner is where I spent much of my youth.
It sure is and what a neat shot!

Excellent. Thanks for the post.
Hi wanderingbear, I found the location because it's a well known ghost town up here in Montana and I happen to like that sort of stuff. The chair, boots and staff (actually a drill bit) were there already. The town was restored and managed by people with the Bureau of Land Management, University of Montana, and the Garnet Preservation Association. Just about all of the artifacts in the town are donations from people who wanted to help. Most of the artifacts had been either auctioned (when the last resident died in the 40s) or looted by souvenir hunters.

Hi Rich2236, I was standing in front of the chair, which happened to be at a ghost town called Garnet that is located in the mountains in Montana between the towns of Drummond and Missoula.
