Place to "bargain" new lenses and cameras

I recently found Greentoe.com, a place where you name your price for stuff. I was looking for a nikon D7100 body only. What happens is, they take your price and search places until they find a store willing to bargain. There is NO SHIPPiNG fees and nO taxes. From what I can see, it's cameras, lenses, home appliances and other stuff I'm not interested in at this point. I offered to pay $950 for the camera and ended up paying $1025, again, no tax, no shipping fees. Adorama, my usual go-to place could not match the price. My new camera arrives today!

Yes, but are you getting a genuine USA warranty body? (Currently $1099)Or a grey market body? (Currently $959) You will not know until it arrives.

Does your camera body come with a USA warranty? Or is it a grey market product. There is a considerable upcharge for USA warranty products.

Sounds like great value to me. I bought a body from a similar European site for hundreds less than the list price. And, I got a two-year full warranty, compared to a 3-month buying direct from the manufacturer.

People have said that when they order from these type of web sites that they get hit by a customs fee a couple of months later. Not sure if this is true.
