Love the second one. It looks like you put some thought into the picture. What HDR program are you using?

I used Photomatix Pro and Nik Color Efex Camera 3 filter. Thanks

The composition, exposure, and HDR merging have been handled very well.

The only improvement I could suggest would be to wait another 30 minutes for the Sun to hide behind the city. Then you could have had sunset, twilight, city lights, and the pier lights contributing to the scenic image. Of course, you cannot do that now, but for a future trip, or another occasion you might be able to wait for the Golder Moments.

Thanks. I agree. This was taken @ 2pm. Altho not ideal, I just started playing with it and was happy with the result given the poor conditions.

It's part of the Nik Suite of plug ins or stand alones.

I have a Nikon d5100 with a Tamron 18-200mm lens

I'm old, stupid and white too, so I know how you feel.
