Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the Duck Dynasty family, has been removed by A&E executives from further appearances on the highly rated tv series. All this because of remarks he made regarding sexual behavior.

There are many articles about the controversial remarks, many from Christian sources. Anyone can find these articles very easily. Here is the story from a very secular source:

This will be interesting to see how this all works out. Personally, I agree with Phil's remarks, and I hope he doesn't back down or apologize. The whole show can shut down as far as I'm concerned, to the detriment of the A&E Network. The Robertson family will easily find other outlets for their show.

I have to agree with Robertson. A woman's butt is more of a turn on than a man's ass. A woman dose have more to offer... children. As far as homosexual being a sin, it is according to the bible. As far as Robertson speaking his mind on the matter, what is so wrong with that? The gay's are also speaking their mind as well, aren't they? To each his own but that dose not mean that I have to approve of a persons life style that goes against my own beliefs.

Now, why should anyone be upset about that when you have your opinion and I have mine.

Very well stated. I think it is repugnant the way the homosexuals get in your face with their lifestyle, and yet deride, insult and shout down someone who differs with them. Hypocrisy is alive and well in the homosexual community!

Did you all read or see the news today? The media is reporting as to why Obama and his wife are not attending the Olympics in Russia. He wants to have homosexual athletes attend in their stead.

It seems that this guy didn't learn the lessons of those who have gone before him. If you have an opinion that is controversial you should keep it to yourself or risk losing business or money or both....Paula Deen comes to mind, then there's Howard Cosell, Jimmy the Greek, etal.

Why should he keep his mouth shut... you didn't. Some how you felt it was your right to speak for what you believe in. Are you the only one who can say what is on your mind? There is something perverted about a man wanting to put his penis into the butt of another man, no matter how good buddy's they are, it just does not seem right. Tell me Rix, you are a man... would you want to go down on another man?

You keep your mouth shut to keep the paychecks coming he didn't now he's toast... You can think anything and believe anything you want. Once you put your thought into words that others can hear you've committed to path that could lead you to a ruinous end.

Im glad to hear you say that. To me, it sounds like A&E network dosen't belive in the 1st Admendment. They seem to be more of a self-interested, communistic controlling entity who deprives personal beliefs of individuals under their rule.

Im glad they don't run America!!

We will be boycotting the self-righteous A&E channel over here.

I will address the last sentence of your comment.

Because liberal politically correct people will not allow it. Their views are the only views that matter and are correct. I think what the network did is wrong.

It's called PC (political correctness) and is one of the favorite tools of the left. It would be good for the nation's mental and cultural health to see it gone, but I'm not holding my breath.

the network even removed some references to Jesus when the family prays together before dinner. If people are offended then they shouldn't watch, but don't call them reality shows if the suits decide what reality will be broadcast.
So the bottom line is that A&E has a political agenda and they will use the power of the media to spread it. If this really gets out of hand, FOX news might start burning gays at the stake during prime time to pander to their audience.

I don't think this guy is even remotely concerned about a pay check! I have contacted A & E expressing my displeasure at their PC, and pandering to the homosexual community and will refuse to watch anything on that channel.

“Political Correctness” is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up dog excrement by the clean end.--Author Unknown
