Delta Ailines and cell phones

Three cheers for delta, who confirmed today that cell phone usage will remain curtailed on their flights even if it eventually allowed. Can't imagine sitting next to someone like most of us have seen in stores and restaurants. Tough deal is that on a plane is you're trapped!

A man was sitting next to a woman on a plane commute. The woman made a phone call to her husband. Loudly proclaiming she has stayed late and explaining that she was on a diffrent flight and blah blah blah and being very loud and obnoxious.
The man next to her, getting perturbed, leaned over and said loudly so that her husband could here through the phone.. "come back to bed, I'm getting cold".
That ought to do it.

Beside the nuisance you predict: It is true the technology has advance a lot but who can assure 100% that 120 or more cell phones being used at the same time will not affect the electronic system in the airplane...? Exaggeration? I wouldn't like to take the chance anyway

Can't have it both ways. Each side on this issue will made their own arguments. Those who want it will argue freedom of speech. But what will those who are against it, including me, argue? Freedom from speech? The right to solitude? The right to not be annoyed? The right to quiet? The right to sleep? If it comes down to rights. those of us against it will lose.
