The New Obamacare PR Campaign

Three weeks ago the Obama administration desperately launched a new public relations campaign in an effort to make Obamacare popular with the American people. So far, President Obama has made a few speeches urging people to sign up for the law and White House Press Secretary has berated Obamacare critics from the briefing room. But now, Organizing for Action, Obama's left over campaign wing, is urging people to "get talking" while they sit around at Christmas time in their pajamas. They sent the following photo out last night on Barack Obama's Twitter feed.

The jokes write themselves, but my take is that the Obama administration wants American males living in their parents' basements forever. Over to you, Andrea Tantaros:

The embarrassing "get talking" campaign comes at a time when millennials are abandoning Obamacare and President Obama in droves.

Young Americans are turning against Barack Obama and Obamacare, according to a new survey of millennials, people between the ages of 18 and 29 who are vital to the fortunes of the president and his signature health care law.

Obama's approval rating among young Americans is just 41 percent, down 11 points from a year ago, and now tracking with all adults. While 55 percent said they voted for Obama in 2012, only 46 percent said they would do so again.

When asked if they would want to recall various elected officials, 45 percent of millennials said they would oust their member of Congress; 52 percent replied "all members of Congress" should go; and 47 percent said they would recall Obama. The recall-Obama figure was even higher among the youngest millennials, ages 18 to 24, at 52 percent.

Don't forget the 9 Gods on the Supreme Court. They need to go also, especially Roberts.

You can not vote out all of congress nor the senate but there is a way to stop the madness state by state.

If you mean States Rights, the States have given over to the Federal Government too many of their Rights to self govern in return for federal funds. Can this be reversed? Has States Rights ever won in a Court? Each Governor of each State should get together and contest the Laws that are Unconstitutional or that goes against the rights of it's people.

Won't happen...

The pro mo-movie will probably go down in flames. Even I can still remember what might have been on my mind at that age and it damn sure wasn't health care being pushed down my throat by a bunch of political idiots. I know things have changed a lot since I was that age, but the basic "I intend to live forever and for the moment, where is the party, and who cares about insurance anyway" attitude will be reinforced by having to cough up beer money to pay for someone else's aches and pains. Add to that the intrusive revelation that I can't find a job and have to live in my parents basement and be relegated back to being treated as a freshman in HS, would probably not equate to leading the cheering for saving good old Barry's political legacy.

It's all about money. When a state starts to raise an issue the feds respond with the threat of denying some federal fund (highway, education, social, agriculture, etc.) and then the state usually falls down from their position. I think we need a lobby for the "silent majority"?
