Night Sky was awesome tonight.

This is my neighbors house and tonight the moon behind some clouds creating a lot of light and color.

Thanks but I really didn't do much just a little straightening of the horizon, saturation, sharping and I darkened the foreground. But all these edits were minimal. Here's the original straight out of the camera.

It is your mind and eye that is creative when you visualized the image originally. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

I didn't have such cloud cover but we did have dramatic sky last night. You have a wonderful shot here. It can be so hard to capture the rest of the sky besides the moon at night, but you did excellent.

I've never seen so much of the sky brightened by the moon! Very nice :)

Yes it can be difficult I have many failed moon shoots in my arsenal. I got lucky. 1. because it was just an awesome sight. 2. because I actually had my camera with me this time. :thumbup: I just hate it when there is the perfect shot and I don't have access to a camera.

You should see it just after a fresh snow at night when the moon is full and it reflects. It's like the weirdest light you can imagine. Between the moon and the facility just over the hill it illuminates the valley when normally it's pitch black.
