Merry Christmas, all.

In my little town of Franklin, TN we have an annual Christmas celebration where many dress as they did during Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" and it is called " A Dickens of a Christmas". It was rainy and dreary last weekend when this happened, but I hope you enjoy the pictures anyway.

"A Christmas Carol" was set in London. So it's only fitting that it should be rainy and dreary.

Hi Regis -- yes, there seems to be something going on every weekend here. A nice place to live.

Thanks for looking - all these folks in costume are volunteers and many of them have done this for years.

Oh how neat!!! I love Dickens! Wish we had something like that here, but I don't believe we're that cultured. :-D

Thanks, Dixiegirl -- where I grew up the only thing that was cultured was buttermilk.
