This a friend of our niece at their graduation Saturday. I just got a quick snapshot of her outside the building, but I wanted to have something worth remembering. Do you think the brown works, or should I have left it in color? In fact, is there any hope for it at all?

Any comments or edits welcome.

Edit: Geeezzzz...I'm having trouble with this site this morning! One attachment wouldn't load, then it took FOREVER to reload after three tries.

I agree! It's much better than the other one which is a decent shot already!

The brown works and it's a worthwhile keeper for Jenny and those close to her.
The download is very nice.

Thank you all so much! It's always nice to get others' input, and I agree with the consensus. I think she will be pleased with the brown.

Now just give the same treatment to the borders and background of the 2nd one, but leave it in color for a real treasure!

Try the same steps in color to isolate your subject...then compare.

most definitely the sepia one, plus the crop eliminates all the distractions also, very well done
