Im sitting here with a hot cup of coffee, feeling all nice and toasty by the hot blazing fire in the corner of the room, as I try my best to stay out of the firemens way as they put the fire out
(Chuckle)
I am enjoying my coffee, by a nice warm fireplace, as I look out the window at the small flakes of snow starting to fall. Being from, California, Im always amazed at the beauty undisturbed fresh snow as it cascades over the landscape with its beautiful white dusting.
The cold, seems to take a back seat, as I watch the snowbirds flutter their wings as the snow falls, and the birds scramble to collect the food from my feeders. The winters are hard, but somehow, we always look forward to the following season.
For me, its a time to remember family, friends, and those that arent here, but are still remembered. Its also a time to give thanks to the new friends that I have met online on Ugly Hedge Hogs this past years.
