I had so much fun shooting the surfers and other activity near the Huntington Beach Pier then, I had a blast altering the photos with my post production work. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Love them all. My favorite is the girl in the turquois suit. The first one looks like he is surfing in rootbeer.
Nice job.

Wow. These are spectacular. If I were a tourist on that boardwalk and saw these enlarged and matted, I'd have to buy a few. Wouldn't be able to stop myself. I think you have outdone yourself on this series. I hope your work is in a good gallery somewhere down there. It deserves to be.

BrentHarder: If these were blown up to say 48"x 60" or 50"x 70", I see real commercial value for office waiting rooms, etc. I'm serious! For a doctor who specializes in sports medicine. But I like the quiet peacefulness and obvious friendship of the last shot

Thank you very much Heirloom Tomato for your thoughts. This only confirms to me what I had thought before about how nice they did turn out. Sorry to sound egotistical, but for me this is a rare "comfort zone" on the photos and post production work.

I think they are beautiful. The surfing shots are magical and I very much admire however you worked on the boardwalk photo. That is a great photo and a fabulous result.

I feel that these are your best images to date and have taken the liberty to post the link on Special Effects Challenge. Thank you for all your hard work and posting them.

Exhilarating! I love the bold, vivid colors you used with the surfers working the waves. Loved how you have the splash and water spray, just emphasizes the action. And then there is the quiet friendship and serenity in the last 2.Perfect end to a truly charged day!

WWCD every one. I love what you've done with all of the enhancements. I may have mentioned how I now go about judging photographs and art in general. If the answer is yes to "would I buy it" it will rank pretty high. Each of these would get a "yes." Add a high five to that.

Worth showing your portfolio to a few permanent stores near or on the pier. Would also make awesome T-shirt prints.

Brent Harder you have outdone yourself here...
Each one of these stands on its own merit.
I had to go back three times before I could pick a favorite determined by what I had to look at the longest...
Surfer from above is my favorite followed closed by the first of the two surfers walking...
Way to go......

Thank you so much Moshe ben Avraham. I wish I had an agent to promote my work. Doing the business end of it really is something that I do not relish. Most of the images are small in size so I don't overload my computer with huge RAW files and take up all my storage space. Thanks for your comments.

Thanks Heirloom Tomato for your nice comments. I think you are talking about the "pier" photo since I didn't put in a boardwalk photo on this thread.

I have to agree with the others as this is your best post work to date. Hard to pic a favorite, but love the liquify filter on the girl, the last 2 and the pier shot. Great work!
