Good luck, neither LR 5 or Capture One, the two top tethering paid programs don't support the D3100 either. I think that developers look at cost of development vs market and may feel that those with the entry level DSLR's are not the profile of shooters that tether. Don't see the D3200 as supported either seems to start with D5000 at least for Capture One.

You may try contacting Tethertools, www.tethertools.com as the are experts in tethering and have great custome service. They have also reviewed all software
