Did you know that the Obama Administration just approved allowing wind turbines to continue killing bald eagles in the U.S. That is a travesty. This can be prevented without shutting down the wind mills. All that is needed is a method of preventing the eagles to fly into the blades. Yes it will be expensive but what isn't these days. No this is not done at taxpayers expense but at the expense of the owners.

I don't want to see any harm come to these majestic birds.

That's a wonderful eagle shot. It shows the majesty of the bird in his environment. Love shots like these. Is no need to get up so close that you can see the lint on the bird feathers, although some photographers love that. Thanks for posting!

Thank you very much. I agree with you. There is a time and place for Eagle shots showing a close-up or a distant shot. I'm happy with this distant shot because it does show the surrounding environment giving a unique perspective into the Eagle's habitat.

This is a great shot. If you use it for a card, you have room to add some text. May I suggest cloning out the little tuft of pine needles in the top right?

Very nice capture. I like the way you got the branches frame the Eagle.

Thank you for your nice comment and suggestion for a Christmas card idea, but I have already made my Christmas cards (below) is just the inside of the card.

Thank you. I was lucky to have those tree branches in the right position.
