Has anybody here ever used the NERO trigger? I can't seem to get the sound option to work right on mine and wonder what I'm doing wrong.

Hi John,

Mostly I have only experimented with it at home. I bought it at the recommendation of someone who used it to photograph lightening. This is the reason I wanted it but I did experiment with some of the other functions. I am still waiting for a good storm with plentiful lightening. I have experimented with the interrupted laser function and that works very well.

Do you have the user manual? The instructions look a little involved and it apparently depends on exactly what you want to do. There is an adjustment for use with different levels of sound. Apparently, the sound trigger is for use with flash under dark conditions. That part didn't make sense to me. I know at one point there was information on YouTube and somewhere I have additional information. This is not something I use frequently so I will have to check further to be of help to you.
