I have been reading forum for a couple months, and decided to join so I could ask questions! I am from Ohio, all-but-retired and getting back into SLR after having a film SLR many years ago. I am hoping it is like riding a bicycle...it will all come back! :roll:

Digital ,on a base level, is quite similar to film but way cheaper and you get instant gratification. Of course like any hobby, digital is a vast subject if you want to delve.

Hi J. welcome to the hog. Yes, it is just like riding a bicycle after a long absence. Except that the ride will, for a little while, be a bit more bumpy with DSLR. But you will get the hang of it.
