I've been wanting to photograph the Brooklyn Bridge for some time now. I finally got my chance today. I was going into New York for a motorcycle show and decided that I would spend the morning photographing the city, and the afternoon at the show. I started on the Brooklyn Bridge around dawn and worked my way to Midtown by about 1:30 when the motorcycle show was opening. These shots are just from the bridge. Once I got across the bridge I tried to channel Graham and get some interesting people shots. I was amazed that I could actually be quite close to people and they seemed not to even notice that I was taking their pictures. I'll post those tomorrow. Today just the bridge. Hope you like them and find them interesting.

Very nice set! I love #3.
You got some wonderful shots. Number two is especially impactful with the semi-darkness and the new Trade Tower in the background. Nice job all around. Any shots of the motorcycle show?

Thank you. I like that one as well. It was shot with my Tokina 11-16mm. I think I might clone out the red cones. Not very attractive. I appreciate your comments very much.

Thanks, for taking a look. I'm sorry to say I did not shoot a single shot of the show. In seven hours of walking around Manhattan, I shot about 800 exposures. By the time I got to the show, I was pretty much spent. That's what happens when you try to do too much in one day.
I really like the second one also.

Thanks so much. It was 23 degrees, so I was really glad I had my long johns on.

Yes, it was a good one. I'm in the process of sorting and editing the ones I really like from over 900 to choose from. With that many potentials, it is good to come across the ones that are out of focus or have weird backgrounds so that you can disregard them with little or no thought.
