Cypress trees and ice

People usually don't think of cypress trees and ice together but it has been cold and windy here. Well cold for us anyways. TNmike

Ahhh, the harsh realities of life! Thanks for sharing these "anomalies". I wonder, do cypress trees suffer from the lower temperatures?

Bob, the cypress trees don't seem to show any effects from the cold. As you can see these are older trees and have likely been frozen many times. The temps in the teens really aren't unusual here. Single digit temps do happen but not often. I have seen the lake in the background completely frozen over. TNmike
