As long as I stood by the fence 10 feet from the doe and fawns the buck wouldn't come any closer so they got some corn before he moved in for his share. At 6 degrees out today I didn't stay out to long even though I had my boots, gloves and heavy coat on.
Doe (corn in mouth) with fawn and buck waiting for his turn.
Waiting patiently, at least until I leave.
Cockle burrs and frost this morning!
  great shots, nice going
Nice set. Looks like the deer are nice and healthy.

I am very jealous Greg!!! I can't get mine to come very close right now. With hunting season going they seem to stay back in the woods. great shots though!!!

Thanks Moose19, they are so much fun to get close to with a fence in between us

They are doing great so far this year but I hope the snowfall doesn't keep coming the way it has. The snow up in northern MN is already 10-30 inches and 6-7 around the Twin Cities. It could make for a hard year on the wildlife population.

That hunting season puts a damper on deer coming close to any human. I have the advantage there as no one can hunt with any gun or bow in the area I live. The buck is at 20 yards and one of the fawns not in the picture is 12 feet away from me having his share of corn.

Thanks rlaugh, I hope I get another repeat performance from them soon. I know I will with the does and fawns but the bucks don't like it when I am around and so close.

Thanks Jim It is fun to have them around to test my abilities. I am starting to get a little better at setting the camera in manual and trying to get the focus spot on.

Thanks Sue I hope they keep healthy through the winter. There are a lot of fawns in the group.
