We stayed at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan a day before our family cruise. Each day could be a whole vacation there, and cost just as much if you dont get a deal. One cruise excursion brought us to Prickly Pear Island. You can see about 75% of the only beach on this off shore locale. Having been to St. Maartin, we opted for Maho Bay Beach where tourists learn airline schedules ahead of their vacation. Interesting to watch them jockey for position on the beach to have planes land just above their tan lines, and then get sandblasted by the engine backwash when they take off from just across the street (watch it on YouTube). Thankfully we were never in a rush since it always seemed like it was 5 oclock somewhere.

Appreciate your friendly comments. Hotel was approximately a 12 minute cab ride from the airport; allowing us a short jaunt back to the docks.

Looks like a nice trip. Thanks for sharing these.
Beautiful series, and I envy you.
But...why would you ever want to leave the paradise that is Massachusetts? LOL
Love that sunset. Can't believe that planes get that close to everyone.
