Haaaaaaa. I ain't stoopid, Wabbit. I would use my P-21 Net Launcher to minimize damage. All the carrot cakes will be forwarded to you (I need your hutch number) and all of the fruit cakes would go to Jr. Sorry, but the kilos of coke I would have to keep for myself or sell on Craigslist.

You knew he made the cover of Rolling Stone, don'tcha?
I am both sides with drones in U.S. air space. I am against privacy infringement. Yet, I am for the use in operations such as search and rescue. If you can save a life go for it. If you want photos of me scratching my butt in the woods, watch out I have a gun, wand I shoot first and hide the evidence second! Colorado is still the wild west! We have open carry laws!

Hmmmmm........first, it's undoubtedly carrying a camera, so it would behoove you to be well hidden.
Second, you really don't know what else it may be carrying, so you might want to MAKE SURE you don't miss.

Sure, shoot it, part it, and off to the scrap yard.
The obvious seems to be missed! (pun intended) Using a shotgun to bring down a drone seems to me, a little out of range , OK a whole lot out of range. Use of a shot gun is under 100 yards. Yes, I know of a friend who got a deer at 400 yards with a shot gun. He saw them way out in a field, using a slug, raised the gun around 45 degrees and fired. Nailed the deer somewhat in the top of the spine. Bird shot, buck shot? never!
Drones fly a lot higher than that. They also don't seem to be drawn to decoys like ducks and brought down in yardage because of curiosity into the getting zone.
As for long range rifles, I think a lot more people will be gotten with the returning projectile to the ground than drones flying in the air.
So, all this, is much to do about nothing!
