Thought I would report back to let everyone know what happened to the WHite browed scrub Wren that was nesting under the cushions, well im sorry to say its not good news, after several weeks of nesting, she just flew away and that was that,Mother Natures way,
I have included a couple of shots I got a few nights ago, of a Cockatoo having a feed, just to close on a brighter note
you may remember this, but no happy ending
dinner time
yummy
Very nice closeup of the owl's face. If you cropped in closer and cloned out some of that white straw, it might have a stronger impact.

Thanks for the idea Bob, but in this case I wanted to leave some foliage in the shot, but I thank you for your comments, OH by the way, the bird iS not an OWL, its a Cockatoo ,of which we have many species here in Aus, and they can be very destructive, cheers Colin
All three are totally awesome, COLANN!
Three good pictures; I especially like the full length of the cockatoo.

thanks Viccksart, yes I was just lucky re the light on the cocky, the sun was very low, not to far from sunset, and it gave a nice yellow glow on the bird, in normal bright sunlight ,they just look real white, thanks for looking colin
