Hi All , just a few photos of what turned out to be a quite misty day at one of our local beaches,
it is called Frenches Narrows, it is about 400k east of Melbourne

Nice set, Colin. Sometimes a dull, stormy sky can be just as interesting as a bright blue sky. :thumbup:

thanks Dook, I agree with some clouds to me a photo looks so much more alive, its like a sunset with no background or building,trees etc looks a bit flat,
out here in Aus, a sunset which is always said to be fantastic, is at Broome WA, its just the sun setting on the sea, and to be honest I think it is boring , not like one with say trees ,or even clouds in the shot, they to me are good..

thanks Jim, I've had a DSLR now for about 18mths and through the Hog I think I am learning a bit, the only trouble at 76, the blotting paper between the ears does not soak up much info as in yrs gone by.
oh , how St Helens doing these days, as a lad from Huyton who used to live in Prescott,and worked at PBs, I haven't been there for around 15yrs cheers Colin
