Here's a few from the Durham Creek area. Durham Creek branches off the Cooper River, which drains to Charleston Harbor - only a few short miles from my house.

Well Dixiegirl & Sailorsmom, sorry I forgot to label this fine feathered friend - Sammy is getting slack! It's an Anhinga.
It is kind of hard to tell with the wings folded and head and neck tucked in, huh?
