Taken around a small harbor and a local marsh. So far we've only had a dusting of snow in our part of the province, yesterday it was 53 degrees when I was taking these images.
light at the mouth of the harbor
looking over the water break towards open seas

tusketwedge...These are lovely. There is a lovely clarity about them also lots of textures to hold the eye. Just beautiful. 53 degrees is quite mild but I bet it's gonna get a whole lot colder soon.
This last one looks remarkably like one of Nightski's photos.
Great shots...luv #3&4. ;-)
Very enjoyable! I particularly like the wharf & sheds.

Thanks Rusty ,yes ,sad to say but I'm sure it will change. We seldom go below1 2 to 15 on our end of the Province as we have the Gulf stream that passes off our shore and it keeps the water warmer and in return it also keeps the frigid cold away. We'll get snow and a couple of days later it can be gone.Think that last year we probably had 24 to 30 inches total,or 600 to 750 centimeters .

hey Bob don't tell her. Shhhhh. Just kidding, unless she sneaked into Nova Scotia and went to a place called Little River Harbor.

Great Photos!
I see that you are near Yarmouth at the south end.
They remind me of Georgian bay here in Ontario.
We were up to a temperature of 15 deg. C (60 deg. f)yesterday. Probably won't last too long thou.
No snow here. May be a green Christmas again this year.

Nice shots, and they look familiar. I was there a few years ago.

I'm on the very tip. Born and bred .Lived most of my life here ,except for a very foolish 13 year venture away. Traveled quite a bit but always glad to come home. One of the few places left that you know pretty near everyone in the village and can still leave your possessions unlocked without fear of it being stolen. Not saying that there's no crime ,just very rarely. Now Halifax area is another scenario.

Thanks Jerry,if ever the urge hits you of coming this way again give me a jingle and we can get together and maybe have a day of shooting. If you give me enough of a heads up I'll arrange a trip to the Tusket Islands that you would find very interesting.
