One Last Cat Story...
Not fully awake and rising for work just before 5 AM, my wife turned on the light by the sink and screamed at a face staring at her in the window. This adorable wanderer was begging for food. No was not in my wifes vocabulary. Although appearing very healthy, two to three times daily she would eat as much as a normal cat would eat in a day. The attachment grew with each visit. After a couple of weeks, we spoke to a neighbor who is generally home all day, learned this feline lived a couple of doors away and had just dropped her second litter. Shortly thereafter the litter and the Mom were distributed to new homes. Now, several months later, this picture always brings out the conspiracy theory from my wife that this cat was taken from her...while she looks for the next stray.
Beautiful photograph, but not nearly as heart-warming as the accompanying story. Good on ya Mate!
Lovely photo and story - Thankyou for sharing.

Appreciate your comments, Bob. Comforting that it is just the coffee that is stirring the pot at that hour.

Thank you for looking in and commenting. Young is accurate, and small, which is why we hadn't jumped to consider multiple litters.

Thanks for looking in, and your concern. There was no reason to doubt the intent of the family.
A beautiful shot, and an even better story to go along with it. Nice job.
