Im upgrading to a Full Frame and I have used my 60D mainly for sports and it has been Great. Its never let me down. Great camera and if you enjoy good low light action photos or HD video you will love this camera. go to my flickr sight and take a look at all the photos. They were all taken with my 60d flick.com/johnkoolery I am asking for $400.00. It also comes with Charger Cannon Battery cables and i will throw in a brand new Rg Bag never used as well.
Thanks for the imformation My Shooter I changed the price..
This type of discount is standard procedure/business model as they are simply getting rid of remaining stock as fast as possible and putting it at a price that is a bargain, performance wise, relative to the price of a new 70D. Buying a camera based upon a projected future used value is not the best reason for choosing a particular brand/model nor is the manufacturer responsible for artificial pricing to maintain the value of a photog's inventory.
Camera advances are coming so rapidly that a two year cycle to obsolescence, with rapid depreciation, is becoming the norm. Mirror-less systems are going to eventually dominate many sectors of the market, relegating heavy, ponderous DSLRs to a smaller and smaller user sector in the same way that in-phone cameras are dramatically eating away at the mini-camera market even if the photo quality is inferior.
The problem becomes when all the new full-frame cameras are above the $2000 price range and the Point and shoot cameras are $300-400. Unless your budget is limitless getting the latest and greatest becomes just a dream. I have a Digital Rebel(300D) that I used for quite a few years and recently upgraded to a 60D. Four months later the 70D was released! If you try to keep up with the latest and greatest you'll end up in the poor house....

I did the exact same thing. The philosophy is to buy something that fits your needs and reexamine the situation in two years. It is the same with a computer. The camera is a computer. The 70D is really only significant over the 60D if you do a lot of work in Live Mode, or you think the focus control of the 60D is deficient, otherwise, the gains are insignificant. If you do a lot of movies, the 70D does a great job following movement in Live Mode and it has WiFi.
DID YOU SELL YOUR 60d Camera ?

Well stated......I have a 60D and feel the same way.
This is just in case anyone cares, and the fact I just bought a new 60D, canon has raised the price back up to $699.00
since this topic was new 6 weeks ago.. Is the demand higher??
I paid $999.00 for a new 60D with an 18-135 and an
EF 70-300 with a bag and a 16G class 10 memory card?
I guess thats a decent price. I guess a camera, like anything else, is only worth what you are willing to pay for it
