These are the same kind as my last post on sparrows. They are only about the size of a quarter and very nervous all the time. I was able to catch a couple before the flew from the feeders.
They are really little.

You must have some really BIG quarters! LOL!
These kinda look like Lark sparrows but really hard to tell from this angle.

Thanks for viewing naturepics, and I guess you are right maybe they are bigger than quarters but not by much. We've had this identification thing going on for about a week now and I still don't know for sure what kind they are.
When you are that small you have the right to be nervous. Good job with the capture.

I thought that only hummingbirds were that small. There is so much to learn.

Thanks for viewing Sirius and what is really amazing about their size is that they migrate down here to Central Florida from who knows where.
