Nissin 866 mk 2 Firmware for use with Sony Nex 7

I'm wondering if there is anyone out there using this flash with a Nex7 and can they tell me what version of firmware is loaded in the flash

I have this flash but I use it with the alpha cameras. I'm not sure if there is a difference in the flash firmware for either camera. Put it on the camera and see if all the functions available work as they should. The Nissin site should also have all the firmware that's available for the flash.

The Nissin website has a pdf download of compatible cameras which was updated last October and it says that for the Nex 7 camera a firmware update is required although the label on the box says it is compatible with all the alpha cameras right up to the a99 so I'm hoping it will be ok I was just hoping someone would able to give me their firmware version.

Send Nissin an email and ask them what is needed. I'm sure they will help you on this. The Nex 7 is a fairly new model and there might not be too many people that own one yet.
