I have wanted to get a picture of these cranes at Intel with a Sunrise or sunset background for a while, sunrise colors lasted so long I went for a drive and took a few more

Ditto H.T. While I generally like sunrises, when you put too many man-made structures in front of them, I move on to the ones less cluttered by civilization.

I usually agree with Bob, but in this case I will disagree. I think that the cranes give a sense of unstoppable progress. The sun still rises as it must; but man is making his mark, good or bad, on his world. I must say that I really like the image.

Agree with the group about #2. Good eye to see that. Regarding picture #3, you must have a very big family.

#1 is very appealing to me. I couldn't verbalize why but ebrunner said it well :)

#2 - I was shocked to see these trees around Yakima when I first moved here. Why anyone would willingly plant one in their yard is still beyond my comprehension 11 years later :)

#3 is very, very neat!

number 3 Probably had more to do with our traditional watching of the movie Christmas vacation last night.

Thanks for looking

Linda, don't you like the Dr. Seuss trees? They look great in people's yards if they are given enough space. There are some great specimens in Oregon's Garden.
