I'm guessing this is one of your favorite places. Somewhat like a part we have about two miles from my house. Nothing really special; but I just love the place.

As an avid canoeist, I can attest to your statement about no paddle needed .... in a body of water this shallow. we would be looking to portage.

It is one of my many favorite spots in the Metroparks winding around Cleveland and it's suburbs. This Reservation has a beach on Lake Erie, a science and rehab center for animals and a planetarium.

Yes, this is too shallow for our kayaks,too. but very pleasant to walk in these woods and the beach on Lake Erie.
