Portrait Professional Ads

On every page I visit on this forum, there is an ad for Portrait Professional. Is anyone else getting this, or is it just me?

In the past, I have noticed that if I clicked on an ad or visited a product's site, then their ad would appear on different pages when I surfed the web.

So, am I seeing PP ads because I clicked on their site at one time, or is everyone seeing those ads on Hedgehog?

The pop ups are programmed to try to mimic content. For instance on the Military Vets thread I get ads for Navy Peacoats, right now I am showing one for Ansel Adams Black Friday deals....lol

I am getting the ads for portrait professional on this thread and I have seen them with some of the other threads as well. Rocco is right they try to mimic the content of a thread because I see this portrait professional ad a lot when people start threads about doing portraits.

Don't you hear the background music? Bringing in the Sheep.
Nothing is free. I just enjoy the site and practice ignoring the ads. I'm sure one will peak my interest though eventually. lol

Add:
127.0.0.1 googlesyndication.com # this is enough but may block some information on other sites.
and/or
127.0.0.1 pagead2.googlesyndication.com
to your host file

or

add a rule killing the domain and sub domain in your firewall

If you have an add-blocking in your browser, right click on the add and block by domain.

If you use Mozilla, go get AdBlockPlus. It keeps lots of ads from popping up and apparently it works really well with this site for I have yet to see an advertisement for anything.
