not sure if this is the right section - sorry to mods if not. I am looking for a suitable online storage for photos from several people to store and access up and download from - any recommendations would be most welcome.

Many thanks in advance

Dropbox will let you make a shared folder, just send the other people the link the first time, after that just tell them you've uploaded something. As well you can have other folders that are private.
2gb storage is free, you can earn more storage by recommending others, or you can buy more.
My brother, sister and I use it between ourselves and it works great.

Flickr recently increased their free storage to 1TB, or something like that.

I have Dropbox, Microsoft Skydrive and Google Drive. Of the three, Google has the most free storage at 15GB. Skydrive (at least to me) seems to be the least user-friendly.

Don't know how Flickr works but 1TB of storage would certainly be nice.

I agree with JR1 in that I wouldn't want to depend on off-site storage as my sole means of back-up storage. Just don't have that trust in both the longevity of the site and absolute dependability of an internet connection.

What concerns me is that if Adobe can be hacked what happens to my photos I need for work

My nephew and his wife have run a graphic arts business (She more PR, him more the nuts-and-bolts). Last Thanksgiving we had a discussion about off-site storage. She lives on Dropbox, he just smiled and said "I can't afford to have crunch time come and either the storage website or the internet go down and I don't have access to my work." Sure is hard to argue with logic like that. Sounds like you and him both have the same concerns.
