Caught a pic of the wife coming in the door from work; hence her attire.
She's an EMT and it's cold so that's why the jacket and cap.
I HAD to take a picture of SOMETHING with my new Metabones adapter!
This was on a 50mm f/1.4 with just the dining room light wide open at f/1.4 at ISO 4000. (it was pretty dark) so the speed booster gave me an effective f-stop of f/1.
Here is one I took at work this morning with the 85mm f/2 on the Speedbooster:

Nice pose and composition but perhaps a bit too much light on the left and too much contrast from left to right; i.e. a bit too much shadow on the right as well. Might try a softbox or scrim.
What is a Metabones adapter?

Gotcha but I didn't even light these, she just walked in and I had her look at me...that was the extent of it...I just needed a human to point it at that's all. :)
The metabones Speedbooster is an adapter for 3rd party lenses for mirrorless cameras that has an optic in it that does a "reverse teleconverter" thing wherein it magnifies the FOV of the lens onto your "less than FF" sensor.
In doing so, you get the FF effect from whatever lens it is and (believe it or not) you get a full stop of light beyond your lenses minimum f/stop. My 50mm f/1.4 that I shot with here gets the amount of light as if it's a f/1 lens!
Also, (and believe it or not applies here) it slightly makes your lenses IQ sharper.
They really are magic.

I understand: sometimes you have to take what the situation gives you.
Thanks for your input on the speed adapter. Hadn't hear of it before. I'll look it up.
