Seeking critique of some non-music photographs.
Hi all, new to the forum and glad to be here! I am a professional photographer, specializing in music photography, however I do shoot anything! I also have a love of "art photography", crowd photography and photographing the minute, the "rot". I'd like to submit a few representations of what I do along these lines, seeking your input on them in general. I have a universal signature as to how I frame, focus and process pictures so I guess what I'm seeking is your opinions on this, on how I "do the thing I do". I do appreciate your critique, and thank you for your time!
I failed to read the rules of this section, and apologize! If a mod could move this to the appropriate section, I would be most obliged.
I think there are a lot of "things" here (esp the last one - seems 'straight up"). In #1, I would only question cropping out the hand - I expected to see a guitar or other instrument - not just the PBR. The street scene is awesome- makes the eye wander around 2 or 3 times . . . The joins out of several heads(#2,5,6) bother me a little - I know they're "live", but still . . . The food truck is very good - I'm intrigued by the vendor's headbands - to me, they say "sushi chef", but they are more likely hot weather necessities. The second clown is just superb - creepy, but superb. The "Camel ride" is quite deep, but would it be worth processing the sky more, as long as you went to the trouble to flash the horizon? Thanks for sharing these - the shot through the shop window(#4) is one of the themes of my life - very well captured - I like the grit.
