MostMost Americans Say Obama Can’t Manage Government Effectively

WASHINGTON (UPI) — Only four in 10 Americans said they think President Obama can manage the Federal government effectively, a CNN poll released Monday indicated.
Fifty-three percent of Americans also said they do not believe Obama is honest and trustworthy, the first time that a clear majority in CNN polling expressed that view, results of the CNN-ORC International survey indicated.

Forty percent of Americans said Obama can manage the government effectively, down 12 percentage points from June and is the worst score Obama received among the nine personal characteristics rated in the new poll, CNN said.
“A lot of attention has focused on the president’s numbers on honesty in new polling the past three weeks, but it looks like the recent controversy over Obamacare has had a bigger impact on his status as an effective manager of the government, and that may be what is really driving the drop in Obama’s approval rating this fall,” CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said.

Poll results also indicated 56 percent said he is not a person they admire, 56 percent said he doesn’t agree with them on important issues and 56 said he does not inspire confidence.
Obama is still seen as someone who cares about ordinary Americans, is likable and has a vision for the country’s future, results showed.

Results are based on nationwide phone interviews with 843 adults conducted Nov. 18-20 for CNN by ORC International. The margin of error is 3.5 percentage points.


They should have taken the poll on UHH, Chit-Chat Forum; he would have much worse! (Even with a few dozen trolls who would have voted for him in a heart beat. )

If a Republican president reduced massive job losses in the midst of the worst recession in nearly a century by more than 50% in his first 4 months in office; presided over 44 consecutive months of private-sector job growth creating nearly 8 million jobs; killed Osama bin Ladin; saw stock markets reach all-time highs; saved the American auto industry; increased domestic oil production to highs not seen since the late-90′s and championed the largest year-to-year deficit reductions since World War II, would your party not be calling him a hero and a legend?

The real poll number is the 9% who approve of the GOPTagger Congress!

You people just do not know what you are talking about!

That is why less then 30% of your fellow citizens approve of you!

The campaign to discredit this president is unprecedented.

Of course, he was re-elected which shows that at least 51% approved of his job. The president nationally won 65.9 million votes -- or 51.1 percent -- against Republican challenger Mitt Romney, who took 60.9 million votes and 47.2 percent of the total cast, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
Obama is the first president to achieve the 51 percent mark in two elections since Republican Dwight D. Eisenhower, who did it in 1952 and 1956, and the first Democrat to do so since Franklin D. Roosevelt, who won four consecutive White House races. Roosevelt received 53.4 percent of the vote -- his lowest -- in his last race in 1944.

Employment stats---so "tweaked" by the administration you/we will never know the correct number but it's a heck of a lot higher than you say. This President couldn't manage his way out of a wet paper bag. He has never had a real job. He is as Clint Eastwood said "an empty suit", the greatest hoax ever purpetrated on the American people. Are there no Democrats in the Congress...hummmmmmmmmm When the Congress was won by the Republicans in 2010, the Democratic Led Congress of that time was 2% higher in approval than the congress is currently.

The only reason that the Dow is on the increase is the fact that the Tresury Dept. has dumped $85,000,000 (billion) a month into the stock fund every month for the last 5 years. It is nothing that this administration has done.
