I use HDR for a high percentage of my landscape and nature photos. My objective is to extend the dynamic range and at the same time making it difficult to see that image was processed using HDR. I have built up a set of presets in Photomatix Pro but also use Photoshop HDR,

Here are a couple of examples

Well done natural looking. In the second photo, are those people looking for goose neck clams?

People today seem to be ashamed to use HDR. So they're very careful to "keep it natural". I think that that mind set is wrong. HDR used in any degree is just another "look" in photography. Whether a photographer shoots for a natural look, impressionistic, abstract expressionism, hyperrealism, or whatever he creates, it's all good. Who's to say what is the correct way to present a photograph. The style should never be questioned. If a particular photo is what the photographer is trying to shoot for then it is legitimate. Now, a photo maybe good or bad, but all styles, to whatever degree are legitimate.
By the way, I like your shots. Great job!

I do the same. Love the first image. Beautiful colours, exposure and handiwork. Personally, I would prefer more of the flower in sharpness, not just the centre. I would also clone out the dirty bits on the flower and on the left edge of the green pad if you are not entering it in a 'Nature' themed competition. Like the edging too. Well done.
The other image doesn't do it for me. The scene feels cramp to me and it could do with a bit more contrast. The sky is looking noisy too. Zoomed into the object in red. Is it a person? Hard to tell.
