I Caught this one on Thursday Night as my Grandson Zach #23 fouled this kid as he was attempting to make a basket.
Nikon D-600, Tamron 17-50mm Lens, Focal 35mm, 1/500 Sec., ISO 1600, Using Pre-Set White Balance as set in the Gym lighting.

Nice catch Tom!! Your colors are getting better. But remember portrait framing and zoom in.:)

Here is my take. The obvious crop to focus attention on the action. Could have cropped out the guy on left but the resulting crop would have been too tight. Used the gradient tool in LightRoom to darken the floor. Reduced the exposure a bit. The final step was to add a little vignetting.
