Nikon_Bill Loc: South Florida

Sometimes in the late afternoon here in South Florida, I can look up and see a dozen or more of the birds sliding across the sky in formation. The clouds seem to go one direction, and the birds are going in another. The sight carries with it a feeling of seasonal change, or that they are moving with time. I stare in awl every time I witness the free spirit of these creatures. These were Ibis. Their white feathers with black tipped wings seem transparent up closer, but at higher altitude, only the silhouettes slide silently past.
