I caught up with this Female Northern Harrier during it's late afternoon hunt in the Marsh.

Their tail feather color is quite unique and won't be confused with other raptures.

Hey, Tom,
Great harrier images. Everybody gets'em in a lateral view in flight. These are the first...and really good...posterior in-flight views I've ever seen of a harrier! just beautiful illustration of the caudal hite patch. The symmetry of both postures is excellent!

both terriffic images..and unique ones...of a harrir in flight! never seen such captures rom perfectly behind this flying raptor. shows the caudal rump patch to teally good advantage! anyboy can gt he lateral BIFs of harriers; these are truly unique ... at least in my exprience. Really nice job.

I also like #1 best but to me #2 shows the seance of nature.
