Took these photos with film and did PP in my viewfinder and I was limited in what I could do. Now with digital the possibilities are endless and your eyes and mind are the limits you can accomplish.
Am trying some PP and if they are pleasing shall post or should I forget.

I like the tulip, #8. The focus is very soft on these photos.

Heirloom, I tried soft focusing to see how the depth of field affected the colors, I was more interested in manipulating the colors, I enjoyed the results, have a few more which I shall post tomorrow.
Now enjoying doing PP in Photoshop, just endless results.

It's fun, isn't it? Looking forwarding to seeing what you come up with.

It looks like you introduced some Motion Blur as well as shallow DOF.

BobYankle:

You are right, I introduced some camera movement into a few photos, now years later I think that action is there whether I like it or not.
Would need to use a tripod now, problem is in most cases my lens front was 1" from the subject, would need to be a rubber tripod.

Or a tracking motor like the astrophotographers use. It would have to be pretty darn fast to keep up with windblown flowers however.
