Apparently this spider is common in Florida. Some call it a crab spider but its common name is spinybacked orbweaver.
Very interesting! He kind of looks like a sticker we have in Colorado. Most call it a Bull head or Goat head sticker. Very painful if you step on it with bare feet. Here's a link to what I am talking about:

I took this picture on Marco Island in Florida. I haven't seen anything like this where we live in New Jersey.

He or she is an amusing looking little arachnid. Not as creepy looking as some spiders. Colorful. Good shot!
